• Round luminaire for wall, ceiling or floor installation – recessed.
• Configuration: machined aluminum body (EN AW-6060 alloy) with 15 micron anodization for high corrosion resistance. Cap, open frame and lid in AISI 316L or aluminum (for reference consult the catalog pages). Diffuser: transparent or sandblasted polycarbonate or methacrylate (see catalog pages for reference).
• Double layer painting for high corrosion resistance: the aluminum components are painted with a double coat using powders compliant with QUALICOAT standards: a first layer of epoxy powder (with excellent chemical and mechanical resistance) and a second finishing layer of polyester powder (resistant to UV rays and atmospheric agents). The entire painting process of the aluminum fitting starts from previously sandblasted components to make the surface more porous and increase the adhesion of the paint. Ares carries out alkaline and acid washes to completely clean the surfaces, then rinses with demineralised water to remove any residual particles, subsequently a chemical conversion treatment is carried out to protect against rust.

• Installation: the appliance is equipped with a section of
cable for easy connection. Underground version: the cable is integrated with an H20 STOP device. Sigma is equipped with a high-efficiency resin-coated dc/dc converter that removes electromagnetic interference and is protected from polarity reversal and sudden voltage peaks. Outdoor use requires adequate flexible cables. Installation in solid surfaces requires a dedicated installation box to be purchased separately, installation in panels is only possible with the spring version. For the underground version it is important to provide a layer of gravel >200mm or a drainage system (for concrete surfaces) to ensure good drainage and avoid water stagnation.
