MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
Body in EN AB-47100 die-cast aluminum with high resistance to oxidation. Tumbled finish for preparation for the painting phase. Screws in A4 stainless steel with a high molybdenum content of 2.5-3%. Silicone gaskets.annealed.
Extra-resistant double painting carried out in 3 phases:
1) BONDERITE treatment with a metal-free fluozirconic chemical protection material containing ceramic nanoparticles that create a cohesive, inorganic, high-density layer. 2) PRE-POLYMERIZATION cycle with application of an epoxy primer with characteristics that allow the device to be overpainted and with high resistance to oxidation thanks to the presence of zinc. 3) POLYMERIZATION cycle with the application of polyester powder with high resistance to UV rays and atmospheric agents, with resistance to the salt spray test for 1200 hours. ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT SENSITIVE TO OVERVOLTAGE.
It is recommended to install surge protection devices (SPD) in the electrical system.Protective devices prevent the intensity of these phenomena, protecting fixtures from damage and prolonging their life. Outdoor lighting fixtures are subject to all types of permanent, temporary, or transient electrical disturbances. These disturbances can cause permanent damage or failures that compromise their performance and lifespan. Surge protection devices (supplied by SIMES) are used to limit the destructive effect of these phenomena. A protective device must be installed for each lighting fixture no more than 10 meters away. To ensure proper coordination of the protection devices, a surge protection device must also be included within the system's electrical power panel (the choice of this device is the responsibility of the designer and is not supplied by SIMES).
